Texture art has been around for centuries but recently it’s becoming more popular. What makes it so special?

Texture art is an ancient form of art that uses paint on paper to create patterns and designs. It’s also known as “paper sculpture” because it combines painting and sculpting techniques. In the visual arts community, texture is the perceived surface of a work of art. How it may be perceived physically, from the sense of touch, or visually, or both.
There are several reasons why texture art is so popular right now.
First, it’s unique. No other medium allows artists to use such a wide variety of tools to create beautiful images. Texture techniques give depth to an artwork making it look more natural. The more texture of the work, the better the illusion of reality. To create an atmosphere in a painting of being more realistic.
Second, it’s easy to learn. Anyone with basic artistic skills can make amazing textures. The level of detail will be determined on the skill of an artist, different forms can take little time to learn while other techniques may take an artist weeks, months or years to perfect.

Fourth, it’s fun. Creating textures is a creative process that anyone can enjoy. And finally, it’s portable. You can take your textures anywhere you go, and it is safe to use around children and pets. One of my favorite things about this style of art is that I can do it anytime and even include my children!!
